  My brother passed away Oct 16, 2018 and wanted to be buried at this Cemetery where our Mom & Dad are laid to rest. In December I went up to lay a wreath for him & Mom & Dad and his gravesite was a mess funeral flowers frozen to the ground piles of dirt with rocks on top of the grave his grave wasn't leveled flat a total mess. This cemetery used to be so well taken care of when Wanda was there. Who are these lazy people up there now. Now it's may and they just laid the foundation for my brothers headstone Robert Williams Jr. This cemetery needs to be looked into and something done about it's care. Maybe these caretakers don't care about every ones family there but we do. Barb Kinney>>5/31/19

  Sauquoit Valley Cemetery
  LOCATION
  Clayville, Oneida County, New York, US I was at my brothers grave today and was shocked to see the deplorable shape it is in. My brother Warren C. Burritt was buried on May 19, 2018. His grave still does not have topsoil on it or any grass. It has never been racked down or cleaned from his funeral. The undertaker from Smith funeral parlor told my sister today that this was our responsibility. How can we bring in topsoil, a roller and turf to make his grave desent. I believe this is the cemeterys responsibility. We are so upset by the look of his grave. We aren't past loosing him yet and to see his grave so dispicitable is heart wrenching. Please help us by letting Warren rest in a beautiful resting place.
